Company Alliances was founded in 2006 by Jeff Goddard, a former Unisys and EMC strategic alliance professional that built and managed collaborations with global consulting, systems integrator and outsourcing firms, such as Accenture and Deloitte, across Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Company Alliances has helped a number of software businesses since its birth and current clients today include Diamonds Software and OpenAV.
With Diamonds Software we initially called them in to help bail out another client, it was soon noted that what Diamonds Software had the most agile combined business process management, workflow, business rule and metadata application development tool possible. We use the word "possible" purposely, because it is fact. Managing metadata at the lowest possible level is the ultimate one can go, so this cannot be bettered. At the time we started working together, Diamonds Studio was a 32 bit client server solution that Diamonds Software used to generated cloud based solutions. Solutions were generated with so much quality, in such short time-scales, with such little resource, that they often competed with offshore development outfits and won.
In the three years we have been helping Diamonds Software, we have managed to acquire Venture Capital (VC) funds, a business angel and with the request from the VC a new MD, who comes from the construction industry, however a former CEO of a large accounting software firm and an accountant by profession. The construction management software now near completion has the industry expertise, quality look and feel, and agility that Diamonds always deliver. A winning solution.
Our recent contract with OpenAV came about as along with associates we were looking into the energy markets looking for software to fit in what we envisage the new business models would be. OpenAV are the authors of ENADO, an award winning smart home management solution, that again offers the agility because of it's ability to integrate by way of configuration to any home automation network, hence any device and or smart appliance in the home. The value is simple, one controller for the entire house. Control the energy use, lighting, heating. climate, security, gate, and of course have fun with it's TV and games controls to route anything to anything using just one HDMI cable. Of course you have the controls and displays on the cloud and smart phone as well.
What we are helping OpenAV to do is to find collaboration or places to embed the software. This could be smart TV's, set top boxes, heating and climate controls, assisted living controls, telecare and several other interesting places. By working with OpenAV, collaborators will benefit of several years of investment into this software that can already integrate to any device or appliance and work in the cloud, smart phones, ipads / tablets or even from the TV itself.
On top of helping clients we also sell our client solutions with implementation and training services as required.
Anyway less about Company Alliances and our clients what about you? What is it that the next generation of business process management solutions can help you with?
