Atlas-GOSS and Mitchell Phoenix set out effective development support for Outsourcing Industry’s leadership and management

02 May 2007

London, England, 2nd May 2007: Atlas GOSS Limited, a provider of support services to global Outsourcing Service Providers (OSPs), has entered into a collaborative business relationship with Mitchell Phoenix Limited to bring effective development support to the leadership and management of the Outsourcing Industry.

This Alliance is the beginning of a genuinely collaborative relationship in itself, where Atlas-GOSS has been granted the exclusive right to market, sell and overall service manage Mitchell Phoenix’s portfolio to the OSP client base.

“When you are looking for Leadership or Change expertise, you want to see real evidence of proven track record. When we selected Mitchell Phoenix, we did so because over 4,000 leaders and senior managers around the world had already done so.” said Stephen Bailey, Managing Director at Atlas-GOSS. “With the Outsourcing Industry itself undergoing enormous transformational change, today’s managers and tomorrow leaders can at least be certain about one thing. Atlas-GOSS and Mitchell Phoenix know what is required to effectively manage change.”

For Kevin Yates, Managing Director at Mitchell Phoenix, the collaboration with Atlas-GOSS “Has a special significance, as the Atlas-GOSS leadership team was part of the Sema plc (Atos Origin) leadership programme in 1999. It is incredibly rewarding to see the results of our programme translated so fully into action.”

Stephen Bailey sees this approach “As another great example of why focusing on the effectiveness of leadership and management will outperform the overworked efficiency initiatives in meeting and exceeding client expectations whilst also achieving a substantial reduction in the total cost of operation for OSPs”.

Atlas-GOSS has ongoing relationships with the likes of EDS, HP, CSC, Unisys, Capgemini and Atos Origin. Mitchell Phoenix becomes the fourth partner to join the recently launched Foundation Alliance Businesses Programme and is aligning with PAS BSi 11000 for all collaborative business relationships.
