Business scenarios and or government regulation are continuously generating the need for organisations to become more agile. The penalties for not being agile can range from being outwitted and out-performed by competitors, being fined for non-compliant and or missing opportunities to gain operational efficiencies.
Diamonds Studio combines Business Process Management (BPM), Workflow, Business Rules, and Application Development in a single metadata framework to deliver solutions in private and public clouds.
- Business Process Management (BPM) is a management approach to managing and optimising business and human processes
- A Workflow is a series of automated or semi automated tasks and forms to produce an outcome.
- Business Rules are statements that describe the operations, definitions and constraints that apply to an organization’s people, processes, corporate behaviour and business systems.
- Application Development is used to structure, plan, and control the process of developing a business system.
A Metadata framework can be defined as data providing information about data. It is used to extract everything that can possibly change with programme code, so that the data is external to the programming code and changeable by those without programming knowledge. Diamonds Studio takes this changeability concept up to the point of execution, meaning that programme code is only generated at run time every time it is needed.
Private, Public, Secure and Hybrid Clouds are bi-directional scalable IT infrastructures. Private are within an organisations firewall, Public, the outside accessible through the internet, Secure are typically high security government / private networks and Hybrid are when a mixture of Private and Public are utilised.
Diamonds Studio is delivered with Knowledge Packs, a repository of reusable model business processes, and associated workflows and applications, including high level processes such as "Design the corporate vision" or "design the marketing strategy" through to "Completing an expense claim form" and or "ordering stationary".
